There was a time when words were enough.

There were these moments where we shared all our stuff.

Without inhibitions...
Without holding words back...
We shared everything,
But now time's taking it back.

It's like trying to grip
A slippery rope
Knowing I'm losing,
But still holding out hope.
Still I'm doubting my strength
To keep my hold on you,
And so I'm fighting this feeling
Because the words I said are true.

But if I'm not enough,
Please, will you say so?
I just want you to be happy,
So I'm okay to let you go.

But before I do,
Please just let me say,
You'll always have a part of me.
